2023 Environment Design and Callout Sheet
I was mainly inspired by Umayyad and Abbasid architecture, but I didn't want it to be just a straight for one riff. So I approached this like I might when designing a character, focusing on creating strong silhouettes and striking colors. I picture this being a mysterious city, magically empty yet separate from the world and time.
